Terms and Conditions of Sale
Maurer's Auctions (AY001999)

1. Sale of Goods:
Everything will be sold absolute, "as is", "where is", without the privilege of return.

2. Condition of Goods:
Maurer's Auctions has endeavored to accurately describe in our catalogs all items being sold. No statement in this document, bill of sale, invoice, or elsewhere by any representative of, or person in the employ of, Maurer's Auctions shall be deemed to be a warranty, representation, or assumption of liability with respect to age, condition, size, quality, variety, importance, or historical relevance of any item being sold.

3. Title of Goods:
Title to all merchandise shall pass to the successful bidder at the call of "SOLD" by the Auctioneer.

4. Disputes:
The Auctioneer will be the final judge as to who is the successful bidder. In the event of any dispute the Auctioneer shall at his or her discretion decide to reopen the bidding.

5. Payment Terms:
All accounts are expected to be settled by the end of the auction. Payment may be made with cash, traveler's check, business or personal check, Visa, MasterCard or Discover Card.

·         Personal Checks:
Personal checks will be accepted if you are known to us, or if you are a member of TCA. Those not known to us must obtain prior approval in order to settle accounts by personal check or business check. Maurer's Auctions reserves the right to hold all merchandise paid for by check until such check clears.

·         Bank Letters:
Approval will be granted on the basis of personal reference from those known to us or upon a "Letter of Guarantee" from an officer of your bank. This Letter should state an amount of funds guaranteed and should be presented prior to sale time.

·         Credit Cards:
We accept Visa, MasterCard or Discover Card.

6. Sales Tax:
Some auctions are subject to Pennsylvania Sales Tax. To qualify for exemption, you must have a photocopy of your reseller's tax exemption certificate on file with us.

7. Buyer's Premium:
All items sold are subject to a 12% buyer's premium which will be added to the successful bid price and will be payable by the purchaser as part of the total purchase price. We offer a 2% discount for cash or pre-approved check.

8. Removal of Goods:
All merchandise sold must be removed from the premises immediately after sale concludes, unless other arrangements have been made in advance.

10. Notification of Successful Internet Bids:
The following information will be sent to you by email if your bids were successful:
1. Sale date (date of auction in which you have submitted successful bids).
2. Lot # (same as catalog number).
3. Balance Due (Successful bid amount plus the buyer's premium and PA sales tax if applicable).
4. Payment Address

11. Shipping, Packing/Crating, and Handling:
Everything will be sold absolute, "as is", "where is", without privilege of return. Should you require shipping, your items will be taken to a commercial shipper for crating or packing. You will work with them to secure your purchase.

12. Agreement to Terms:
By submitting an absentee bid via email on any lot offered, your email address will indicate that you have read and accepted our Terms of Sale.
